The path follows the BoardWalk promenade along Crescent Lake, then crosses into EPCOT through International Gateway (the back entrance between France and the UK).

This is one of the best resort-to-park connections at Disney World. Only Beach Club is closer.
Note: You arrive at International Gateway, not the main entrance. This is ideal for World Showcase, Remy's, and Frozen. For Guardians or Test Track (front of park), you'll walk through World Showcase or take the bus to the main entrance.
To Hollywood Studios
Walk time: 15-20 minutes
The path continues past EPCOT along Crescent Lake to Hollywood Studios.

Rope Drop Strategies
For EPCOT

Walk. You're 5-10 minutes away. This is one of the easiest rope drops at Disney.
Remember: You enter at International Gateway. For Guardians rope drop (front of park), either take the bus to the main entrance or plan for a 10-minute walk through World Showcase.
For Hollywood Studios

From EPCOT
Walk. While everyone crowds the buses, you stroll out International Gateway and you're home in 10 minutes.

From Hollywood Studios
Walk or boat. Both work well. If the boat dock has a crowd, walk — you'll beat them home.
From Magic Kingdom

Bus lines can be long after the nighttime show. Stay 15-20 minutes to let the rush clear.
The BoardWalk Itself
BoardWalk Inn sits on a quarter-mile entertainment promenade modeled after Atlantic City. This isn't just a path to the parks — it's a destination.
On the BoardWalk:

You can walk to EPCOT for dinner, return for drinks on the BoardWalk, and walk to Hollywood Studios the next morning — all without ever waiting for transportation.

Evening Strolls

Is BoardWalk the closest resort to EPCOT?
Beach Club is slightly closer (5-7 min walk). BoardWalk is about 5-10 minutes. Both are excellent for EPCOT access.
Can I walk to the Skyliner from BoardWalk?
Not practically. The nearest Skyliner station is at EPCOT's International Gateway, which requires entering EPCOT (needs a ticket). For Skyliner access, stay at a Skyliner resort.
